Dundee Family History Centre

Researching your Dundonian family history has been made much simpler since the establishment of the Family History Centre at the Central Library in the Wellgate. The Centre provides a one-stop shop solution for your research needs, in addition to superb resources elsewhere in the City, for example -  at the University of Dundee.

  • Opening hours at the Centre follow the Central Library's opening hours:
  • Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri 9am - 6pm, Wednesday 10am - 6pm, and Saturday 9.30 - 5pm. Registrars will be available at the Family History Centre on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
